MATALE

My hometown is Matale. It is located in the central province and my city is really beautiful city. My city is a historically important city. There are many folk's tales based on my hometown. one of them is that the king Gajabahu about 12000 peoples were brought to this country from India and they were settled in this area so later it became Matale.
            There are many places to see enjoy in Matale. Muththumari amman kowila . it is the first and oldest religious place in the city of Matale.  aluviharaya, dambulla temple, riverston, sembuwaththa etc. are located in matale city. Also, around the city of Matale is the knuckles mountain range. I think I am very lucky to have been born in this city. I love my home town.
